Using the stator precision cooler in conjunction with our HIWIN linear motors from the LMFA series and the forcer precision coolers, the thermal decoupling between the linear motor and machine can be improved further. Especially during short stroke applications, the stators also have very high surface temperatures that result in higher temperatures in the working area. The stator coolers counteract this effectively by extracting the heat from the stators and out of the machine via the cooling circuit. Depending on the size, there is either a standard variant that focuses on the best possible cooling performance and, alternatively, a special design for applications that are very difficult to access or where limited space is available.
